LIES!!! LIES!!! LIES!!!

There's a story that is being carried in the WSJ. I'm not sure how many readers here have a subscription to the WSJ so I'm including the epayment.com LINK instead.

Hopefully CAPP can do something to counter the false propaganda that sinister forces inside the WSJ are spreading to corporate America.

Not only that.
You have to consider who hires the companies that do surveys.
How the questions are posed.
Who is in the group.
Is the group really 5000 or did they just "claim" they polled 5000?

I've seen many a skewed analyst report and "poll".

One stock analyst lady was sued for such bogus reports about eBaypal.
It's in the stack off stuff here somewhere, but no need for me to dig it up.
It's a FACT... easily found by those who seek truth and facts.

Didn't Enron look great on paper, before they looked like crooks in court?  What was the  name of the upstanding  company that helped Enron cook their books?  Of course in Bored's "world"  none of this happened and figures can't ever be skewed.

Bored, I know you like it here!

DeFECT or DEfect.  The choice is yours.

Exactly!!!

I read where this person has knowledge of eBay/PayPal using Enron accounting practices. When he releases this evidence the house of cards will come tumbling down. Any day now I'm sure. Maybe tonight or tomorrow morning it's gonna happen.

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!

When I'm stuck a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh!

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

I read where LieWorld was hiring their staff from India to save money. They are clearly outmatch in a battle of wits when they challenge those that know PayPal is the spawn of Satan. The staff LieWorld hired in the US were having nervous breakdowns in their hopeless battles and were becoming increasingly paranoid that everyone was against them. Sad to see that happen, even if they were in league with the devil.

When will the lies stop??? Doesn't the author know that PayPal is history? Was the author paid in advance before PayPal was slain?

Online shopping safer than many think

You're more likely to have your wallet nicked...

By Tim Ferguson

Published: Monday 6 November 2006

If you're being put off doing your Christmas shopping online over security concerns then think again - because it's far more likely you'll be a victim of physical theft on the high street than suffer fraud in the digital world.

According to a survey from PayPal more than a third of respondents (35 per cent) have been victims of property theft, whereas only 15 per cent of the UK adults surveyed have been victims of online fraud. Similarly, around 71 per cent of Brits know someone who has had their wallet or purse stolen but only 29 per cent know a victim of online fraud.

The figures should reassure consumers who fear making financial transactions on the internet. Many still think entering your financial details online presents a huge risk, with the PayPal research revealing 55 per cent of people feel this way.

Neil Edwards, head of financial planning at PayPal UK, said the workplace is the second most vulnerable place for property theft after pubs and clubs. People assume they are safe at work and can give out confidential bank details over the phone "without a second thought", he said.

The research also found 2.5 million people in the UK have had belongings stolen while at work and leaving your wallet on your desk or reading out your bank details over the phone is much riskier than shopping online.

A spokesman for VeriSign told silicon.com education remains key and consumers need to know the facts about where they face the greatest risks.

Thank God people come to message boards to get the real information instead of some fake news site. Keep up the good work CAPPers.

Everyday, in everyway, I'm getting healthier and healthier.

Let me get this straight. PAYPAL does a survey and concludes online shopping is safe? Even a pinhead like Really Bored can see how worthless that survey is. Do you really think Paypal would state anything other than that "fact"? HELLO? Paypal MAKES their sleazy living by transferring money online. It would be like R. J. Reynolds releasing a survey stating that cigarette smoking is NOT harmful! LOL! Paypal and their moronic cheerleaders stoop to a new low! I personally know MANY sellers who have gotten ripped off by Paypal, but NONE have ever been robbed or had their wallets stolen. Just when you think Paypal can't get any sleazier, they drop it down one more notch...

One thing that is indisputable PEEP and the PP heads KNOW IT. LOL

eBay
211.9 million registered users (for 3Q)
79.8 milion active members
132.1 million inactive members

Inactive user growth continued to outpace active user growth during the quarter

PayPal
122.5 million registered users (for 3Q)
30.9 million active users
91.6 million inactive users

Got to love THAT.

PayPal also thinks it is safe to give THEM both your bank account number and your account password (as a convienience, of course.)

One of these days we may all wake up to find sleazebay and painpal a big 404, and everyones $$$ will be gone.

They probably gave real bored a new pair of Nikes and a free neutering for his efforts here.
