You find good stuff. I these charts. Both of them. Thanks anon. It's like watching the rise and fall of Rome. Now if I just had something to fiddle with!

Well Ice, you know that many "creative" shoppers have discovered new ways of shopping and keeping themselves "entertained" all for free. Some seem to find tried, tested and true ways of turning those bills into credits. Of course, it can only really be accomplished with a tool for scammers, er... I mean a safe online payment service with really good "buyer protection plan", and "well trained" personnel.
I heard about such an outfit not long ago. I think their slogan was "Relax! We gotcha covered like a jimmycap!" (maybe that was their seller protection slogan though)

So I've HEARD! But I think it only works with one particular online payment service. I can't seem to recall the name of that service though, hmmmmmmmm. I hope I can remember it before I start my Christmas shopping!

It works best there because the serv. reps are trained to issue an immediate chargeback, freeze an account automatically or whatever. I think it is just more like so many folks have a beef with one certain company, the one that scammed them. Some folks may feel that it is an entertaining way of recouping their loss. (it is after all, the only way.
Looking back at medved, I do not see much if any spike in listings from the India special.

I never thought of that. Sort of a "back door defrost" for the PP scammed. I wonder if you could track the amount of "do it your self recoups", to the number being scammed by e-slay/pay-up!!! SinceE-nay is the NUMBER ONE scammed site on the whole wide web, does that make them the NUMBER ONE scammer company on the web? Sort of like a "do unto others philosophy" on acid! Which means the more people E-bay and Paypal , the more people are going to want revenge! which makes it even MORE unstable for sellers on E-bay. Great!
No doubt paypal haas some relative figures. There was a news article stating PayPal had the highest chargeback rate of anyone, over 150% increase in 2005.
That is why they keep changing the UA.
They are changing it more and more - constantly. Too bad all the scammers need to do is simply file Credit Card chargeback to roll right over PP. PayPal apparently reacts by linking and feezing more members accounts, and doing that "musical unauthorized funds" chargeback thing.
