was not a stroke of genius.


because if you are referring to the black box at the very bottom of the page with the little blue planet in it, that is a free tracker. It allows the user (or anyone else for that matter) to see the IP addresses of anyone who has visited the website.
I use the same free tracker from extremetracking.com on my business web site.

Not the free tracker. There is a very small black star (might have to hit CTRL - A to get it to show) on the side of the page, towards the bottom.

I have a habit of highlighting websites to see if the user is "hiding" anything. I saw the star and clicked.

IceBlue, yes it did. The only "box" I saw was the one down at the bottom in the middle. I was about to ask sagebrush where the heck the link was exactly, and when I hit the 'submit' button, the entire thread was gone. They REALLY did not like that one.


No matter...keep your eye on that WEB SITE and see if there are any changes in the near future......... eBay not give a rat's patootie about it, but I betcha the web hoster does...

Looks like I missed out on that altogether. You mean to say a link to those sights got posted over there? What was the name of the thread exactly? We can dig it out maybe still.

The title was something like "Texas Style Porn",


it spcifically mentions best buy audio (I am deliberately not typing the URL so it does not get picked up by search engines off or on this site) as belonging to a forum regular in Texas, points out that it links to porn, and asks why eBay allows it. My wording could be wrong, but that is the gist of it. The OP was called something like "sagebrush".


It did not last very long like I said.


 


BTW you may want to check this thread http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?threadID=2000170296&start=120 and look for the post by vintage cycle books, betcha THAT post doesn't last long either! There is a cute one not too far after from elznoblanco..
