Including profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, disruptive or hostile comments, interpersonal disputes, or threats of violence in a post.
which is not permitted at eBay.
This is a copy of your post:

Hi Ciniclady. <img border="0" src="images/emoticons/wink. gif" alt=";)"> Why are you so nosey? Is it part of the script they give you when you come on shift? <br><br><u><i><b>NO PAYPAL</b></i></u>
We realize that you may not have been aware there was a rule against this activity. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to review our site policies, which can be found at:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/everyone-boards.html
Please understand our goal is to help you understand our policies to ensure successful experiences at eBay. Therefore, we respectfully request that you refrain from this activity in the future to avoid the possibility of a suspension of your eBay registration.
Thank you for your cooperation in this important matter.
Regards, SavoneBay Moderation Tea

But do you think Texas_Choppers Davie got slapped for this:

Finally a whiner has figured it out. The buyer like PayPal that is why the sellers offer it.

Against all evidence there may be hope for some of the whiners after all.

David

Savon seems to be one of the pros a$$hole buddies. On most of the slaps I have gotten they have been from him. This is just further proof of the harassment that is taking place on the paypal board. They will eventually get me, but that is ok because I have a number of items that I have to work out and post to various boards, and I can use the time off.

Hey Helen, every time I give you the old wink, you know what I am saying.

NO PAYPAL

I'm in the middle of my travels but figured I'd check in.

I guess they haven't managed to rid themselves of you Cheaper. Good work!

Col. Klinklady sure is working overtime over there. God ... she does not have a life!

Sandy (maybe Sandy) showed up on the sucks board to point out that her ID was deleted here. Which of course proves she has never posted here. (uh huh)

What she fails to grasp is the fact we don't care. How pathetic is the possibility that someone wanted us to believe they were Sandy? Poor bugger!

Question about eDC and Delivered?
cliniclady2000 (85 ) View Listings | Report Jun-24-06 12:10 PDT
I received a package at 1 PM today, no problem there, but when you click on the DC#, it only shows delivered to the "unit" meaning Postal Facility and not my addy. Could this be a problem for some sellers?
I have removed the # and City and Zip for privacy.

Could this be a problem for some sellers?

If it never showed delivery to the recipient, you bet. But most often, the actual delivery will be added by the next day as well.

The delivery person hasn't gotten back to the post office yet so the delivery onformation from their scanner hasn't been loaded into the database.

The delivery information will show up this evening.

That's good. I don't use eDC and I never really checked before. But I had wondered if this is what is happening with some buyers who say they have not received but the DC shows delivered, but it actually has not been delivered?

mikedn (365 ) View Listings | Report Jun-24-06 14:12 PDT 4 of 23
The only buyers who receive a package with eDC and then go online to check to see what the eDC # actually says are those who are looking to pull a Paypal scam.

There are two sides to every story... and somewhere inbetween, there is the truth.

Maybe sometimes, but it seems like most of those sellers either paste the DC# or quote the DC saying "Your item was delivered at ..." in their posts. I think most often these problems are USPS error or carelessness (such as carriers scanning in items before leaving on their route).

Are you calling someone a scammer mike?
I find no reason to scam someone, do you?

krazykatie811 (1 ) View Listings | Report Jun-25-06 06:49 PDT 7 of 23
It WAS a strange thing to ask and it IS strange to check if a DC shows up delivered or not...

mikedn (365 ) View Listings | Report Jun-25-06 07:33 PDT 8 of 23
I stand by my assertion.

The only time a BUYER will go on the USPS web site and check to see if eDC shows "delivered" or not is if the BUYER wants to pull a Paypal INR scam.

There are two sides to every story... and somewhere inbetween, there is the truth.

284dan (0 ) View Listings | Report Jun-25-06 07:52 PDT 9 of 23
You got the package so you know it was delivered. WHY would you check to see if the PO scanned it to show delivery?

It doesn't make sense to check the status of a package once it has been delivered unless there is an ulterior motive.

Why would you check the delivery status AFTER you received the package and KNEW it was delivered?

mikedn (365 ) View Listings | Report Jun-25-06 07:53 PDT 10 of 23
lol Dan.

Exactly.

Buyer is holding a package in their hand. Why would they check eDC to see what the post office says?

LOL, I have my item, seller has feedback and my secure payment and that is how the story ended.

Kati, do you agree that shillers should be banned for life?

cliniclady2000 (85 ) View Listings | Report Jun-25-06 15:58 PDT 12 of 23
Sam, you were correct. The site updated to show my city and zip and the correct time. Good to know that this is done.

kathiesklown1970 (1721 ) View Listings | Report Jun-25-06 16:08 PDT 13 of 23
I actually check mine too when I receive a package just out of curiosity because I think that eDC is substandard (you get what you pay for, 14 cents) & I am curious as to how often it isn't scanned. 7-8 times out of 10 it isn't scanned as delivered even 2 days after I got it. I have only filed 1 INR in a quite a few years.

Heck, I don't even check DC on stuff I shipped unless there's a problem. That would take valuable time away from watching the cheap shots and other zany antics on the boards.

Coulda,

You slay me (apologies to Mrs. Coulda for the smoochie face )

I've checked my packages online on occasion, but not recently.

CL,

Did the online DC info change?

cliniclady2000: I'm not sure why you are asking me that or why you continue to bring this up (are you referring to your stamp buddy's situation?)

But as to MY opinion which I am flattered you are asking I guess...I cant really say because unless I worked for ebay and saw any evidence of proof or not besides only what "we" can see..I cant make any judgment on anyone and would not think very highly of anyone who would unless they as I said have insider knowledge....things are not always what they seem and since we are all just ebay "users" how are we to know everything?

So I have given you MY opinion which you seem to be obsessed with for some reason..so do you plan on continuing to bring it up or ???

cliniclady2000 (85 ) View Listings | Report Jun-25-06 17:28 PDT 17 of 23
Hi laurie, yep, it updated to show my city, zip and the correct time I received the package.
And Kathies, that is really why I checked..I bet I have not checked DC 3 or 4 times in all of 5years. I was really curious about the eDC and the problems some have stated they have with the service.

kathiesklown1970 (1721 ) View Listings | Report Jun-25-06 17:35 PDT 18 of 23
Reminds me of the time last year when members were automatically signed into other members accounts, it happened to me. I posted to the boards that I was in fact logged into someone elses account when I went to eBay's site, some techie's from eBay called me & asked me about it. I had been browsing around some other members My eBay page, not because I was a scammer taking advantage of the situation but because I post to the boards & we are curious by nature because of what we see here.

Perfectly natural for clinic to see posts here about eDC not getting scanned as delivered then checking on her own purchases & their eDC.
.

Kathie

Perfectly natural INDEED. LOL

I purchased some stuff from a website last week.

It arrived in a few days and was happy to have it and begin using the products.

Never occurred to me to see if it showed as delivered or not.

I guess if the carrier didn't do his JOB...
I could be getting my products for FREE right now.
(And they were all high end fraud type electronics items) LOL

mikedn hit the NAIL on the head on this one IMO.

We can all thank our lucky stars we are all not like many of you posters.

krazykatie811 (1 ) View Listings | Report Jun-25-06 18:24 PDT 21 of 23
Would you care to elaborate? That was a pretty personal type attack on posters here dont you think?

I know you never do that (haha) but what exactly are you getting at? The fact that many posters dont check to see if the DC was scanned when they receive an item? That is BAD?

Wow, aint it the truth though...How many folks keep looking for something AFTER they find it? Sure smells fishy.
