chargebacks and paypal

I wonder if I had paid with a credit card if paypal would have taken the froze funds from the sellers account and paid me?  Rather than pay me the granted me the refund and said ship item back and suppy tracking number so I did.  Then they closed the dispute saying invalid tracking number.  Collect from the seller...haha.  They know if you pay with a credit card and do a chargeback it has to be paid by them then they have to collect and if there is nothing to get out of the defaulted account they are SOL.  Some card issuers like american express and a few others you can't do chargebacks.  Visa and Mastercharge do so make sure if you pay it is with a card with chargeback rights.  I am not a crook or I could get even and scam to get my funds back and I am sure that some do just because of the way paypal handled a dispute so in a way I can see why more and more scamming is happening everyday.

I am not sure if I said something to this effect here or somewhere else but I 100% agree with you in regards to people becoming scammers because they were in fact scammed & they do it to recover funds they were scammed out of.

This is one of the biggest reasons I say PayPal really, really promotes fraud & they can turn a would be honest Joe into a scam artist over night. Once you are scammed you learn how easy it is to do the scamming. The temptation is to much for some & this would not be the case if their policies were different.

PayPal creates a lot of it's own problems by freezing legitimate accounts thus pissing people off & turning them into thieves not to mention all the loopholes enabling scam artists to do as they please. Then there is the "normal" or common internet scammer that are everywhere already, you put it all together & there is going to be BIG trouble!

Bandit, rest assured PP does whatever it has to to avoid paying one thin dime of its own. Their BPP is a complete scam and deception as has been shown so many times.

When you come down to it, ebay is the worst place in the world to buy anything. PayPal the worst way in the world to pay or collect with.

I doubt anyone would blame you if you did whatever you need to do to recoup your loss.

More and more are catching on every day to the free stuff at ebay with paypal game. The funniest part is that all the information you need is right there on the ebay paypal discussion forum.. ha ha ha.

Hi shocat. I wonder what Triumph, the insult comedy dog, would say about your avatar?

Shouldnt that be you tilting one anyway?

PS shocat, what did you make that avatar with?

Yes I learned plenty off the paypal board.  I originally went their for advice under this name and first off clinic did everything knocking me possible.  Running on about my feedback.  Sure my first negative was a npb.  I bid close to 400 bucks on a 100th anniv. limited edition mantle clock and the seller had 3 feedback.  I decided to call and ask questions about the item and when I ask for the serial number they hung up on me.  I didn't pay but got a neg..  All their cheerleaders accomplished was to piss me off.

The rest were from items not received and the last was the nad that paypal hosed me on.  I don't think anyone can have 100% unless they accept feedback blackmail and pay 20 buck the the crooks at square trade to have it removed.  Feedback was never a major issue to me because I maybe sold 4 items at the most in all my time on ebay.  I bought a wireless card on ebay that wouldn't work on my puter so I listed it on ebay sold it for a loss and the buyer never contacted me and left a neutral saying it was doa.  I refunded him full price and shipping and he emailed me that his wife never informed me it was doa and sorry for the neg and I told him np and don't waste money sending it back.  He mutually withdrawed feedback.  I just did what  I would expect from a seller.  That don't work as we know.

I am waiting for some more information and I plan on sending the documentation of this whole mess paypal and their powerseller scammer did, to all mine and the state of california senators, AG's, FTC and still finding addresses.  All snail mail even offers of half my money back from paypal and I close my paypal account and just got a notice they mailed me a check for half.  I won't cash it just photo copy it and add to documentation how they tried to buy me off.  That is all it looks like to me.

Triumph would be oh so horney.....lol.

I did not make the avatar (I got it off a site for MySpace web designing crap). I did have to modify it because it was way too fast as it was designed to run slower thru a code but I just copied it & doubled, (if not more), all frames to slow it down. I used Jasc's Animation Shop 3  to do the modification. (it's included with Jasc Paint shop Pro 8 & above)

Something just hit me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  How the hell would we know if PissPal is really getting ChargeBacks???????????

I know myself on the 2 Chargebacks ( $580.00 worth ) I got from PissPal I supplied them with more than enough evidence to convince any reasonable company thst the customer was defrauding us!!! !

Keyword (Reasonable)

I would not be the least surprised that PissPal is winning these charge backs, keeping the money and telling people sorry it didn't qualify for a PissPal refund HOW WOULD WE KNOW !!!

Even Better It's probably PissPal employees who are buying items and then doing the chargebacks .

I wouldn't put it past them.

I am with a very large credit union "Boeing Employee's Credit Union" and I fully intend mailing them all My documentation from my dispute with paypal and asking them to notify all its members of the risk dealing with paypal and to recommend the use of only payment by credit card if them must do business with them and ebay.  I am sure they are very familiar with paypal and their chargebacks.
