During the boycott there should be ABSOLUTELY NO USE of PayPal at all. Also, register a "CAPP ID" if needed (over at ebay - an ID used for the CAPP boycotts), and contact every seller who only accepts paypal and let them know why you wont be buying from them. Contact every seller who offers alternative payment methods and THANK THEM.
Thank your buyers for paying by means of an alternative payment method and show them what an honest seller you are by quickly and efficiently shipping their item. Maybe even include a coupon good for a buck or 2 off their next purchase from you.
so how did the boycott work out? any numbers on money lost by paypal? when is the next one. c'mon guys we did the work by boycotting paypal, the least you could do is supply the results.

I didn't do any exact number figuring but I did over $300 in sales so do the math about 3% of that is what $10 maybe $15 tops. I have sold quite a bit since then two!

well i guess i am the only one who truly hates paypal. when i was directed to this message board it sounded like the board owner was going to try to get more and more people to rise up against paypal.
got all excited about a boycott and how much money paypal would lose and then came back after the boycott waiting for the results and a big fat NOTHING
i guess this board is just a failure and i'll have to go back to the other paypal haters board where people are actually doing something about it and not just whining every day.
that is what every new thread is about someone whining how paypal scammed them but none of the board owners give any assistance or advice to the people who got scammed -- they just whine along with them.
so am i to understand that you are not organizing another boycott??? am i to understand that you do not have any results from the last boycott??? well thanks for nothing.
back to paypalsucks for me where people really are doing something about paypal and not just whining about stupid people on a stupid ebay message board. what in the world do the people on the ebay boards have to do with fixing the whole paypal problem????? they are just stupid posters on an ebay message board. and complaining about them and gossiping how you know their first names won't fix the problem either.
well if you guys decide to get serious about paypal boycotts post a thread over at the paypalsucks board.
Get real, not everyone sits at their computer everyday and in my opinion ebay sales are slow right now in part due to taxes, holiday weekend etc. Not the time to make a big push to list.
Most of us on this board boycott PP everyday not just when the board says boycott anyway. And some of us also use things like personal messages to communicate back and forth without it being seen by everyone on this site.
As this is a very new site it is going to take some time to get things really rolling. Don't have enough patience for that then this site is pobably not for you.
