Paypal keeps trying to hide the fact that they promote fraud wtih their policies. Most people don't even know about it.
How about putting ads up on ebay even that say, how to get free stuff on ebay, similar to the ads that say, how to make millions on ebay. Ebay would keep taking them down, just get a new ID and post again. That's what the scammers do.
I would think if the word got out about this, then paypal would be out of the closet and they would HAVE to do something.
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em! Let's tell the world how to get free stuff on ebay. Then for sure people would stop taking Fraudpal
I think offering discounts to those that Pay by alternate means other than Paypal would be just as effective. A seller can do this very easily as discounts are as of this time ok on ebay.
Buyers are looking for the best price with the most protection, which is understandable. Some seem to get very upset that others can get the same item for less cost because they don't pay using Paypal.
EB/PP cheerleaders etc seem to be upset about this also as most posts where it is pointed out that sellers are giving other buyers a discount appear to be removed fast from the board.
I am feed up with the whole mess after paypal granted my claim and had me send the item back and close the dispute after I shipped it back so the seller got not only my 300 bucks but the item also. Ebays vero Hdlegal even sent the letter stating the item was fake and a fraud posting. I closed my account. Bandit1946
Maybe attacking PP through the sellers is the only way to go I just hate the thought of an honest seller getting ripped off because of Paypal policies.
Instead of putting the info on ebay though why not just flood the other sites with step by step instructions on how to do it. It will get back to ebay all on it's own.
Paypal is getting smarter in protecting themselves from this though with the high fraud categories like computers etc. so it is the little guys that would have to be hit and hit hard before Paypal would even notice.
Thanks and why don't someone smart enough to start these boards just start their own auction site? I would sure use it and know they would have to be better than ebay!!!!!

lol....because it really doesn't take many brain cells to make a forum....they are pre-made templates for the most part...lol. Plus, I'd never want to do an auction site....too many headaches, legal stuff, dealing with ppl's finances.....ouch!
Thanks for the smile though......at least for a minute....you thought I was smart.....lol

Starting a forum is very easy & anyone here can start a forum on any topic they want, there are hundreds of free forum hosters out there, "with pop ups or advertisements", which is why they are free. You also can pay for a forum, "advertisement/pop up free", helps to have sponsorship or paying/donating members.
ADMIN, you don't have to be a genius to start a site but it's the idea that counts so I give you more credit than it sounds like you give yourself. I know this was set up very easily but so were many sites "in the beginning" that went on to be something. eBay & PayPal after all were just thoughts in a persons mind at one point in time. Everyone has to start somewhere & timing is everything especially on the web. I commend you for starting this site!
Bandit..... Why start up an auction site when we have things coming like Google Base/Gbuy/Gbase/Gwallet or whatever it ends up being called in the end. There are already other auction places already available, eBay is just king of the block right now. Yahoo, Craiglist, Amazon, overstock & so on & so on. I am pushing the Google Base idea with it's own payment system. eBay has prove the payment part is the reason for their huge overall success & to be a real contender with them you have to sort of "copy" them but with a whole new system & absolutely NO PayPal accepted to force their own payment system or of course money orders/cash or Cashiers checks could be used.
Anyone want to see my finished but small PayPal/eBay movie in WAV format? PM me with an email address to send it too. Does anyone have somewhere to host the movie? It is worth watching & the end credits speak for their self!

I have a new id that I buy off ebay with and so far have got two items that I paid with money orders and thanked them for accepting methods other than paypal. And I also mention in my feedback to them that that I do not use fraudpal and thanks for accepting other payment methods.
More posts over there about how to get FREEE STUFF with PayPal! This time, a new wrinkle...Buy a very expensive item, file SNAD dispute, have a friend write you a bogus appraisal...You can read all about it, look for the keywords Positive PayPal Experience - Unreal compared to Borad History as the post title.

Yes, I want to see it! So why dont you sign up/in, PM me with the URL?
Another angle, change address to unconfirmed once item is shipped, file chargeback. Seller has no defense.
In other news, someone just got a FREE 32 inch flat panel TV... it seems a credit card was used and claimed fraudulent use 3 months later...turnabout is fair play, and fun too.
Too bad there is not a board just to discuss al the FREE stuff PayPal gives away.
Using loopholes in PPs UA is still the best way to recoup your losses. Its easy, its foolproof. It is the only way in the world to get your $$$ back. It is the only real satisfaction.
