Once we get a few people here, we are planning a PayPal boycott for a period of ONE WEEKEND. We originally wanted to do it for a month, but believe this will show sellers in a small amount of time how much of a decrease in sales they will experience (IF ANY) by choosing to not accept PayPal.
After we have a successful weekend, we will shoot for one week, one month, and so on. Baby steps. Hitting their pocket book is the ONLY way to get them to listen, and then there are no guarantees.
When we begin our endeavors, we will keep a tally of how many auctions sold and how many $$$ were made. I will then take those figures and determine how much revenue PayPal lost due to the Boycott. I will make sure Paypal is aware of this forum.
You have complete anonymity here. No one is required to register (although you can if you'd like to 'own' the username you use here). No one will ask for your eBay Seller ID or anything that could cause nay-sayers to hurt your auctions.
This forum is not connected to eBay or PayPal in ANY way.
I urge all of you to talk about your PayPal problems here. You will not be moderated. Please try to keep your language as clean as possible, but still - you will not be moderated on this forum. If the truth hurts - let them get some Tylenol.
Only when we bond together will we make a difference. Losing a few bucks on a weeks sales is well worth its weight in trying to make a difference in this scammers dream company. I also urge you to post solutions to the problems you face.
We all want a secure, reliable, fair transaction service and no service is perfect. BUT we can all agree that PayPal is doing NOTHING to protect eBay sellers and buyers against fraud - NOTHING.

Yes.....keep it on as many categories as we can over at ebay. the more people who see it will be more who will participate. I hope we can get a good size group together for our first 'no paypal' weekend.....that way we make a noticable impression on the first go round.

PayPal just "this past Saturday" stole over $1800 from me because "I am linked to an account that has a $500 negative balance?" Whatever, I even told them to take the $500 they claim I owe them but you know the rest....They said NO, imagine that, they would rather have $1800+ than $500.

I just really need use of the account, had $1000 in payments that people couldn't pay me + since I offered PayPal in the auction & now couldn't take it it made buyers very weary of me!! I understand there view of it but, I also tell them my complete story, I feel its my duty, Right? I also wanted the remaining $1300+ difference. They just want all of my money, no ifs ands or buts about it!
Between 3 friends & 2 family members PayPal is down $15,000.00 in balances because they all withdrew there cash & will never keep it there again. All because of what happened to me! I know it is nothing to PP but it is a start on my end of helping bring PP back down to earth where there are LAWS!
