The post-Bulger-trial murderabilia pitches are starting on eBay, with one seller offering what is purported to be James "Whitey" Bulger's perch from the Winter Hill Gang's Somerville headquarters.

The anonymous seller - who is asking $9,995 - claims it is the same chair featured in a 2008 "60 Minutes" profile on hitman John Martorano as he took interviewer Steve Kroft on a tour of the former Marshall Street hangout, including what Martorano warned Kroft are "rooms you don't want to go in."

"Cliff," the consignor handling the sale for the chair's owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, said the buyer will receive a notarized letter attesting to its authenticity.
