Joy Division Singer's Kitchen Table to Fetch $13K on EBay

Ian Curtis, frontman for the beloved post-punk band, committed suicide in his kitchen on May 18, 1980.

The kitchen table owned by the late Ian Curtis, singer for the post-punk band Joy Division, is up for auction on eBay. The item has already collected 63 bids and its current price is set at 8,200 GBP, or approximately $13,000.

couple quick things...

One, check that bid history. Shill bidding?

Two: Will the 'winner' even pay? These types of things often have a way of slipping past the eye of the media when they fall through.

Lastly, fwiw,  I never even heard of the band or the man. Had to  look it up on YT. When I did, I saw this right near the top.   Seems to take on an entirely different meaning than originally intended, eh?
