sleazebay blunder down under! Seems like maybe a biggie, looks like the well-worn 'faulty software' excuse on their part hahahaha.. They can move fast when they need to.

 

 

eBay filtering system to be reviewed over illegal weapons listing

 

REPLICA guns, crossbow pistols, tasers and flick knives are among the illegal weapons being sold on leading internet shopping website eBay.

The revelation has prompted eBay to order an immediate review of its electronic filtering systems and inspection of advertisements this weekend.

And the State Government is warning buyers of such items - which also include pepper spray and knuckle dusters - they face years in jail and massive fines.

Police Minister Michael O'Brien said just because these weapons were advertised on eBay "it doesn't mean they are legal in South Australia.''

"Police will not accept ignorance as an excuse.''
