Question- How many "Community Members" are... (and jobs posting on ebaY forums)

LoL! Once more this topic comes up with predictable results.

Question- How many "Community Members" are...

...employed by Ebay to either difuse or re-direct regular folks who come here with legitimate Ebay criticisms.  It seems that on various threads that attack Ebay, the same people, disgused as neutral Ebay Sellers, always come to Ebay's defense by either playing the devils advocate or outright criticizing the OP who attacks Ebay.

It's kind of obvious, guys...

(...hilarity ensues...)

Now just so people know and understand. The fact  is that using posers is a standard operating procedure throughout the interwebs. It is not a rumor, nor conspiracy theory, nor supposition, nor wild claim made by so-called bitter victims of ebay and paypal Mal-policies and practices.

You may notice that their very own words and videos etc are not enough to convince some folks. Not surprisingly, oftentimes the ones doing most denying are folks whom (for good reason) everyone believes to be shills.

So let's look again. They are even advertising for new positions for people to post on ebay (and Amazon) forums.

(bolded emphasis mine)

eBay and Amazon Expert

We are looking for an eBay and Amazon expert to go on their respective forums and help our potential customers solve problems they are having with each platform. We expect you to gather information for us, which will help make our product even better.

If you are someone who spends their time doing this already, then please reply now. Below, you will find some sample questions. Please respond to the questions when sending me your proposal so I can get an idea of how much experience you have with eBay and Amazon.

Our ideal candidate will be willing to search for answers if they do not know them. Also, sending people to eBay or Amazon's customer service is unacceptable. The people we are dealing with are experienced sellers and know that they can pick up the phone and call the company, but are seeking answers elsewhere and we hope that you will be able to provide them what they need.

Thank you.

I hope this clears things up a bit for folks who are not familiar with the practice. Keep in mind, ebaY, Paypal and the other sleaze corps etc that participate in this trickery don't call them shills or astroturfers or paid liars and trolls. They have other terms such as reputation defenders, word-of-mouth-marketers etc. There is lots and lots of info out there one you look around. Click the appropriate topic tags here to learn more, or do your own research.

Again, it is an everyday ordinary part of conducting business (and politics) on the web. There is nothing out of the ordinary about it, much like the fake social fans and followers industry.

Perhaps there is so much denial because if the world were to learn of the deception it would cause the misguided trust of the gullible masses to vanish?
