eBay has been polling sellers to see if they would be receptive to accepting credit for transactions instead of cash - in exchange for paying lower (or no) fees.
Also the fact that labor laws prohibit the employer or contractor from issuing payment with vouchers, tokens, credits, coupons, discounts or credit cards which are only redeemable at the issuers (employers or contractors) business, etc as per the FLSA.
People concerned about this can start inquiries with the US Dept. of Labor or the wage and hour division.
However, I predict that ebayers are so easily coerced, ill-informed, brainwashed and complacent, that some will gladly accept being paid with ebay credits, and even foot the bill for their own sale's shipping themselves with real cash.
LoLz!
