I previously notified you of a seller sending me pirated software and then threatening and verbally abusing me when I left negative feedback.
Now another buyer of software from the same seller posted a negative feedback because he got pirated software as well. And then, a couple of hours later, he revised it to "Nice to do business with. Quick shipping." What use is a feedback system if you let sellers intimidate/extort buyers into giving positive feedback? What kind of pathetic "Trust and Security team" do you have if a seller who sent me AN ACTUAL DEATH THREAT is still on there intimidating other buyers three days later?

I should have been clearer. I had previously notified eBay through the usual channels. I have also notified them about this latest matter, in case this second buyer was intimidated into not reporting it. I thought I'd post copy of an excerpt of my note to eBay here, so that others could see what is going on.
I would hope that eBay keeps an eye on their discussion forums. Perhaps they do not. But I have often found that companies are more concerned with their public images than with resolving individual customer complaints. So posting in a public forum can be helpful.
And yes, law enforcement has been notified.
There was no SNAD dispute because eBay's policy is that you first try to work it out for yourself. I got my refund. No dispute there. I guess maybe that means I should just leave positive feedback like the rest. "Seller responded to my concerns!!! A++++++" But in my book, attempted fraud is a NEG even if the seller was willing to refund. Call me crazy.
The other buyer did not leave a negative comment for the wrong seller. I am a witness to the negative feedback, which identified the software as pirated and complained about not being refunded. I am a witness to the follow-up comment, "This cheap internet troll makes false claims," which matched the follow-up comment he left for me.
You can pretend they worked it out on good terms. But eBay has the evidence. Based on what the seller sent me, I'm pretty confident what the interaction was:
Dear dozenne,
microbizusa is requesting that you revise the original Feedback you left for Quicken Rental Property Manager 2013 (271077583914).
Reason for request: Other
Message from the seller: YOUR GAY SO CHANGE THE FEEDBACK OR I WILL KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP!
You'll also see some very inappropriate replies in between there from ebay's obvious crew of paid forum trolls. This ia a big part of the reasons why you should never ever use ebay and /or paypal. Gangster-thug tactics all the way.
