Ah-haha! I just can't pass up this chance. here's a great example of why ebaY sucks donkey gonads, and the mindset behind the failure. Just a snippet, but worth zooming in on.
Charlene: there needs to be a lot more emphasis on educating buyers.
Griff: We heard from buyers and they don't want to be educated. They want to buy it, get it, and move on. Buyers don't go to a marketplace to be educated.
Charlene: my thing about educating is maybe revisit the wording on the choices for the 5 stars. A lot of buyers think 3 is just fine, there's no problem.
Maybe it's just me, but I sort of think that buyers and sellers both want[ed] a site which isn't like a trip to through the lookingglass, bad LSD trip or toad-licking episode to use. What freakin' planet is 3 NOT an average rating between 1 & 5?
If people don't want to be 'educated', why make things as difficult as understanding string theory or when 'satan comes to dinner' in order to use the site?
People with any amount of common sense understand ebay has lost it's mind.
Bizzarro-beyondo ebay BS! Can't stop laughing.
