Can the Cult of Assange save cash-strapped WikiLeaks?

Looks like our good buddy Julian Assange needs more money. Hard to imagine, eh?

Can the Cult of Assange save cash-strapped WikiLeaks?

He's got an ebay auction fundraising effort under way again/still, with some of his smuggled-out-of-jail prison items, and accepting Paypal as payment method.

Gee, I wonder how he or others are able to reconcile that fact, after all that has happened? Not to mention Paypal and ebay? Will they swoop in and hold those proceeds as well?

I'm not sure why this article would be in the news (sorted by date) today again, considering that wikileaksfundraiser shows no items for sale at the moment.

WikiLeaks Opens Up Ebay Auctions to Desperately Raise Funds

Interesting to note that they only had 70% success rate on their items.

And also the feedback score is now at 2. With zero feedback left by wikileaksfundraiser.

Apparently there isn't any PR value to leaving feedback? Maybe he doesn't feel a strong sense of ebaY's glorious community values?

Still no word on whether PayPal held any funds or caused any other troubles for wikileaksfundraiser, or if any of the successful listings were payed for via PP
