eBay Kills Pay-Per-Click Ad Program


Maybe it's just me, but this sure seems to add a lot of weight to the notion that ebay is trying to squeeze out small sellers. (That would be in addition to all the other things which we know are wrong... ads on seller's listings, rolling blackouts, unlawful money holds, lopsided feedback with skewed buyer's instructions, unfair chargeback/refund policies etc, ad nauseum...)

Look for traffic to fall even more... laughing.gif

eBay discontinued its AdCommerce ad program in the U.S. and Canada over the summer, and this week, announced it was discontinuing the program internationally effective January 31, 2011. AdCommerce was a pay-per-click advertising program that allowed eBay sellers to place contextual ads on the site promoting their listings.

This post was interesting. I think SEO Services are better alternative to PPC ads. SEO is cost effective and provides results in long run whereas PPC gives temporary support to your business. If you stop PPC campaign just for a day you wont get the leads.
