So once again, we see that the putrid aura of ebaY's pure sleaziness is causing undue stress and forcing innocent people (read: victims) to change their policies... (emphasis mine) This is a real loss to a real community.
A year ago, Florida opened its first two practices to fans and media. This season, coach Urban Meyer opted to shut practices down in order to shield his players from agents, their runners and people who clamor for autographs so they can sell them on eBay.
Meyer said his staff is vigilantly protecting players from "internet people" and "scumbags" by closing practices.
"We cant live the players' lives, but we can certainly do the best we can," he said Thursday. "You should have the right as a player to walk from here to there without being bothered.
