Former eBay Executive Robert Chesnut Joins Chegg.com


Chesnut Brings Industry-Leading Experience to Expanded Management Team to Oversee Legal Affairs

SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Chegg.com, the number one online textbook rental company, today announced the appointment of Robert Chesnut as the company's General Counsel. Chesnut joins the company from LiveOps Inc. and eBay and will manage the company's corporate matters and legal relations.

Most recently, Chesnut served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for LiveOps Inc., a leading provider of call center outsourcing services. Prior to LiveOps Inc., he served as eBay's Senior Vice President of the Trust and Safety Department overseeing Rules and Deputy General Counsel where he oversaw the development of the company's global fraud detection infrastructure and its entire rule and site conduct structure.
