I get the feeling we shall be seeing more fallout from this when users start to receive their invoices, and realize they have been hoodwinked by eb not displaying anyting about the 100 listings limit on the original notification emails, and further confusing language in the promo.

( That is in addition to everything else obvious about the situation.)

There are still gobs of reports. This is one of the better ones.

So all of my items qualify for a free listing, til June1. Yet, when I go to list, I get charged a fee, and was on chat for 3 fricking hours to find out why. The rep said "well, just list your stuff and next month, when you get an invoice, challenge it."

Seriously, you send me an email, telling me I can take advantage of a promo, BUT it doesn't actually work, and next month, after you took all my "not fair" fees, I have to get back on live chat to dispurte them.

I am fed up.

So now here about a month later we'll start seeing more proof that ebaY is a weasel and a criminal enterprise with results like this:

This is still stemming from the free listings from May 26th to June 1st. The message I received in my eBay inbox said nothing about a limit and heres proof.

Well, I contacted Live Chat and he basically told me tough, there is a limit and he gave me a link to the "message" that was emailed (Yeah, good one!). Right there in big bold letters it said LIMIT OF 100 LISTINGS.

I tried to just chalk it up as a screwjob but it festered with me for a few days until I decided to give eBay a call. A friend had his fees credited back to him after a phone call so I decided to give it a shot. The lady was really nice and told my fiance (since her name is still on the account she had to speak) that a $9.00 fee would be credited to my account for the 20 listings I was charged for.

I checked multiple times tonight and no sign of a credit. I contacted Live Help again and waited 67 minutes at 2:35 AM (I just got off)! The person told me they see no sign of a credit on my account.

I apparently was lied to. Actually lied to. After all of this, this person finally credited my account. The 9 bucks wouldn't have killed me but the principle of the matter was eating me alive.

I have to say, once I clear out my inventory I am out of here. I really do not want anything to do with this place anymore.
