Highest bidder drops out of Wauconda eBay auction

WAUCONDA, WA. -- The couple who placed the highest bid to buy the tiny town of Wauconda, Washington has dropped out of the online auction.

Last month town owner, Daphne Fletcher, put Wauconda up for auction on eBay and planned to sell it to the highest bidder. Originally, it was priced at $1 million, but bids were around $400,000.
