Donahoe's Big Gamble: Free Listings on eBay?

I'm sure the imaginary Boycott and all the various NOI$E$ have nothing to do with this. rofl.gif

IF esux lowers fees for the holiday season, ME THINKS THIS WILL BE TEMPORARY! Another way to suk in the ignorant. And listing fees are trivial, the real nasty fees are the comission from the sale. And I bet that if the item does not sell, then ebay will impose some kind of fee too. They like to rename things to keep people in the dark.

Yes they do. Didn't we already learn a lesson the last time they "Lowered Fees" only to jack up the Final Value Fee.

I predict that any move that Ebay does in that direction is just going to be the same old story.

Excactly.

There will be more to this than 'free listings" for sure, and whatever it turns out to be likely will ONLY be to benefit ebay. I suppose we shall see, but really nothing would surprise me.
Clearly the Boycott is working.

Clearly eb is seeking to pacify or restore the confidence and trust of the users, whether with real or misguided methods.

Now if everyone will please refocus on the real issues and quit falling victim to complete irrelevant BS we might actually make a real change for the positive in corporate misbehavior, and start to get some fair treatment, if not for us personally for those who continue to use the site, and for those who will in the future.

Please don't fall for or play into cheap tricks people.

I hope everyone reading ^this ^ "gets it"
