Looks like the Paypal trolls have finally decided to tamper with my auctions. I recently had an auction removed after "someone" reported it to eBay. There are over 700 vintage Bulova watches currently on eBay, but they felt the need to remove mine for violating Bulova's "intellectual property rights". How a beat up, 60 year old Bulova watch listed for 15 bucks can violate intellectual property rights is beyond me. But I'm sure one of the pathetic losers who defend Paypal to the death had something to do with it. Gutless cowards who hide behind posting and private ID's. You'll never win, because you are defending a company that is corrupt to the core. And do you really think having eBay remove a $15 watch is going to accomplish anything? Get real! I guess it's time for me to create some bogus ID's and do a little payback. See you on the Paypal board, Witches of Eastwick!

What a nightmare! It appears the "so called" antique dealers are the ones who are actually "tampering" with your listings. They too think they own eBay, and they also believe they own eBay's forums, as well.
Lots of good companies have had trouble from their "Antique Dealer Network" in the past, and it's well documented.
It's also well documented that many of them don't even sell authentic "antiques" at all --but they've busied themselves over the years with going after others who do actually have an antique to sell. Like you, obviously.
Keep us posted on the "payback" you've "cooked up" (lol), that ought to be interesting to see.

You are 100% correct. I'm giving the Paypal trolls way too much credit. I've had a few sellers contact me and warn me that certain antique dealers are behind it. Guess my low starting price was below their inflated prices. I'm just surprised anyone would bother reporting a lousy $15 auction. EBay refuses to cooperate, stating that Bulova requested the auction be removed and they're hands are tied. Right! They allow hundreds of bogus Gucci bags and claim they can't control their own website, but they can remove an authentic Bulova watch listed for squat. Let's hope Gucci wins their lawsuit and corrupt eBay will have to clean up their grubby website once and for all.
Just one of the many hazards of using a website wherein a multi-billion dollar corporation decides to freeload their services, and leave things up to 'vigilantes' instead of doing the right thing to begin with. Of course, that woyuld cut down on their profits.
I wonder which one of those 5 core values being a freeloader who relies upon unchecked vigilantism and mob mentality to police & secure the site is represented by?
