It seems the actual news reports are lagging behind. As we see above there are more announcements yet to hit the news.


EBay Unit President Exercises Options
EBay Unit President William C. Cobb Exercises Options for 40,000 Shares
October 02, 2007: 01:21 PM EST

NEW YORK (Associated Press) - The president of online auctioneer eBay Inc.'s eBay Marketplaces North America unit exercised options for 40,000 shares of common stock under a prearranged trading plan, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC Monday, William C. Cobb reported exercising the options Friday for $14.51 apiece and then selling the same number of shares that day for $39.14 apiece.

The stock sale was conducted under a prearranged 10b5-1 trading plan which allows a company insider to set up a program in advance for such transactions and proceed with them even if he or she comes into possession of material nonpublic information.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.

EBay is based in San Jose, Calif.

Perfectly legal to cash out, unless the Feds look at the 'pump and dump' senario.

I bet it still makes an investor go hummmm, to see
management cashing out such large increments.
Guess those guys don't have much faith in their stocks going back up huh?

LMAO at eBay and the foolish investors who believed all the BS we have seen over the years.

If anyone takes the time to just go back and put a colored dot on the chart each time ebay execs dumped they might see a pattern emerging.
Of course, we can only know so much as mere observers from the outside.
After all the other dishonesty witnessed, nothing should be surprising.
