I hear there is an excellent Firefox extension to help with that problem, designed by one of the greats of our time, and overseen by millions! In an open source environment.

Of course it does come with one little developer's comment:

"This is only a proof of concept of how insecure eBay's captcha is."

Apparently ebay has thrown another monkey-wrench into that blivet of a website over there, there are also a lot of complaints here and there about page width, missing features, store headers being borked, etc...
