And, of course the whores came back. Hundreds and hundreds, maybe (most likely) more. That was just the search I used.

Using the search gmail whatever search from "beware of fraud" about me page was yielding THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS.

The chart nat medved, to me stopped at the 7th hour, when IT was updated agin, the count was going down at a more gentle slope. (Would ebaY maybe try to manipulate those charts, now, even though they KNOW the whole WORLD is watching?)

HOW... in the WORLD... can ebaY DREAM of letting this continue...

Look at my browser tabs to see the path I followed right to the auction.
OK, the redirect flaw is alive and well FOR ebay. Some of the scam pages are entire fake pages with a clear gif overlay. Look at the url.
Who knows, there could be an entire fake ebaY being built as we speak, if you will.

I have complete screenshots and all for this.

After blocking the gif I was able to get the source code as well. I sure hope someone out there realizes anyone can get the codes soooo easy IT is not funny.

I would hope that Meg gets on the phone and tells microsoft and yahoo to get over there and clean up that mess!...uh, nevermind... /snicker

This is interesting;

I suppose the real issue id that ebaY is RIDDLED with holes/scams/weaknesses.
Note the OP is stating that this came through ebaY message sytem.

Opening my FireFox Adblock Plus extension blockable items panel on the page reveals where the images would have come from. (blocked items are red in the panel) I find this curious, because for instance, if some bonehead forgets to edit a nasty pix at imageshack, the image is immediately un-hotlinked. Can't ebaY and/or PayPal control who hotlinks their graphics?

I notice 2 things peculiar about this listing; the serial number, and the fact that Carmen Electra is being represented as a prostitute on a HACKED ebaY listing.

I wonder if ebaY could dig that auction listing out, or is the mighty Just-a-Venue-Tron-Memory-Hole a permanent thing? I see the listing number is clearly visible up there.

I wonder whether anyone happened to save the entire auction listing as htm format?

I wonder how Carmen Electra might feel aboout this?

OMG! And people "wondered" why so many legitimate companies have left eBaY in record numbers! When eBaY gets their "act" together, maybe they can show up again at the various "Trade Shows" around the country, and solicit companies back-perhaps-in the year 2220 or something!

That story reminds me of the time in 2002 a poster went on the boards claiming to be "God Mario" and threatened that he could end everyone's auctions, pull their contact info. and reak havoc on the place. His thread was quickly pulled, however, his accounts were not closed until much damage was done. Oh well. Those were the good ole days, it looks like its gotten far worse. Who would have thought so? I still stay "poor rob chesnut."

Couple more examples here. What I find curious, really, is the serial numbers of the nonexistant vehicles.

I'm pretty sure others have noticed this too, and captured them.

Maybe some knows who that is in the top listing. Somehow, I doubt even she would like IT too much to be featured in a hacked auction.

Just lettin everyone know, this will be in my next consumer awareness video also, with the appropriate keywords.

I certainly hope someone out there is paying careful attention.
