I have learned that if I wanted free stuff, ebay and paypal will give it to me. You read all the user agreements and if a seller screws up it is flat free. They don't even have to scew up really. Prove you sent it to me and I got it....what a joke. If I was a crook I could really take a seller. I learned from being a honest buyer that sellers and buyers are at the mercy of paypal. No I have not got any free stuff off ebay or through paypal but after being screwed I learned a whole bunch!!!!!
I really got my education from the paypal board. I went there for advice on a deal gone wrong with a seller that sold me fake merchandise. Boy Clinic and Sandy and Texas and even Sam the multi-million seller was fast to tell me how stupid I was so I listen and went to websites and seen just how stupid I was. Those so called pros's pissed me off so I closed my accounts. I did get my funds from the last transaction back in full from paypal after I went to BBB and the AG of both Calif and Ne.. So I can't complain.
We know they pay out big bucks to all them corp. lawyers to represent them. So what is the problem with paying to protect both the buyer and seller? I really understand online dealings is very difficult to control, but once they are proved to be a crook, why does ebay and paypal let them keep a open account? I see now to open a ebay account you have to prove identity...that is a step forward. Are they really doing a good job?
All I want you people to know is be careful. Has anyone from ebay or paypal called to even verify your phone number when you open a account? Whats the cost for a credit check? So much more they could do but they hide it in their user agreement. J.M.H.O.
