Top Ten Reasons Why You'd Wanna Bomb PayPal
Topic: general

Paypal_logo Last night, a bomb went off outside of the PayPal offices in Mountain View San Jose, CA. No one was injured, though there were 24 employees in the building at the time (7:34 pm). The company has been under fire since 2003 regarding their business practices and their methods for "resolving" transaction problems.

A settlement was reached recently that required PayPal to give $1.7 million to 28 states. The bombing may be unrelated to the ire that PayPal has drawn from some users of its service, but if you were the bomber, here's a rundown of possible motives.

1. You throw your fried Dell laptop purchased from a fraudulent seller on eBay -- from which they offer no protection -- at the company's building in protest. The battery explodes on impact.

2. You're incited to Unabomber madness by the violence-fomenting vitriol of PayPalsucks.com. (They actually make some good points...)

3. You don’t, but another failed X-Prize rocket accidentally misfires from Elon Musk's secret lair beneath the PayPal headquarters, erratically flying about before plummeting to earth and incinerating the building.

4. Though your name is John "America" Smith, you've found yourself on PayPal's terror list. "Terrorist? TERRORIST? I'll show them..." you mutter.

5. They inexplicably froze your account for the twelfth time after multiple purchases of Ayn Rand novels.

6. 2.9% + $.30 per transaction is just too damn much!

7. You've got a bomb.

8. They've got a building.

9. The $14 check you received from the class action suit isn't quite the justice you were looking for after months of financial nightmares.

10. You still can't get over the fact that they froze fund-raising accounts during the Katrina crisis.
