That's funny, you can buy a crackpipe on e-bay, but not a cigarette lighter to light it with.

Hey anon, Good stuff.

They have a wide selection of Hypodermic needles/syringes for sale on ebay. (I dont think they have to light those.)

I can't help but wonder if this is one of the live five's auctions.

Oh well, there went my appetite.

...they call it sleazebay...

Police: Mummified remains may have been offered on eBay

Port Huron - Police in Port Huron have confiscated the mummified skeletal remains of a person from a woman's home.

Police discovered the remains after receiving a tip that they were being offered on the eBay online auction site.

The "Times Herald" of Port Huron reports the remains were taken to the Saint Clair County Medical Examiner's office. They'll likely be sent to a Michigan State University anthropologist for further analysis

I see dead people!    (for sale on e-bay)   There was a bid for $500.00 from Satan for the child's remains.  E-bay is downright macabe.

I think the bidders name was "satans child" or close to it.
Unbelievable! Hilarious!

No matter how you look at it, "IT" is shocking though. What is up with ebay, paypal, and the numerous associations to all this "Everything to do with devil worship", being churchofsatans payment method, etc?

I really do think it is all just plain humorous, it is fun to make jokes about...
but come on now... Why would any company really want (indeed, seek) that sort of association?

ebay truly seems to have a lot in common with cults.

Yep, but once everyone stops laughing at what surely is a big joke, the question remains unanswered...

Why the huge connection between ebay and so much of this sort of BS?

Yknow I remember when things were a lot more fun around here

This is a good one.

If you listen carefully, you can hear the tires screaming for mercy.

Yes folks, whatever IT is, you can get on ebay.

I feel a certain subtleness in the ad, that whispers "sleazebay".

Hey bored posters, maybe ebay should have had those folks make their last round of commercials for them.

oops had to fix link.

eBay auction goes up in smoke

I would be wiling to bet they (sleazebay employees, or maybe even that prof data person) ended this and made a private offer, after being outbid.

China Grove Girl Finds Pot Inside Of Christmas Present Box

POSTED: 5:45 pm EST December 28, 2006

CHINA GROVE, N.C. -- A young China Grove girl unwrapped a Bratz doll on Christmas morning and found a surprise Santa certainly didn’t plant.

Inside the box, under the doll’s head, were three pounds of marijuana.

Rowan County detectives say the drugs landed at the wrong house.

According to investigators, the girl’s mother bought the doll from an auction on eBay. When it was delivered to her apartment, it looked just like it had come straight from the manufacturing plant, so she wrapped it and put it under the tree.

The mother called 911 on Christmas Day when she realized what was in the box.

Capt. John Sifford of the Rowan County Sheriff’s Department said hiding the drugs in merchandise is just another way to move them.

“Drugs are sent through the mail, various services,” he said. “Apparently this mail was meant for someone else.”

Authorities said the marijuana is worth more than $7,000 on the street.

Proving once again that sleazebay really is an appropriate moniker.
Sleazebay: world’s biggest pimp, fence, dope dealer....Bwhahahahahaha!!!

I would not be surprized to learn this was either auctioned by a sleazbay/pp/lieworld employee, or was bid on (and lost/was outbid) by one of them, or that there is some connection there, somehow.

Please! Boycott sleazebay and help keep our nation's children safe.

Remember, you saw it here FIRST on CAPP

I bet there is a huge demand for those dolls from ebay right about now though, eh?

Obviously whoever sent it sampled a tad too much before shipping.

Reminds me of a certain garbage in-garbage out paid shill-troll.

Well, well.

I am truly amazed. ebaYs sense of taste of paid adwords may be changing. This particuar issue, (the word at the top right in the screencap collection) was brought to light a few days ago on the stores board by a respected pro-consumer voice, and has been removed apparently from the search results adwords.

This issue has been documented on youtube and blogs, forums, etc for quite some time. Glad to see they listen to someone.

That's funny Bud.  I loved the "BUY BUTTHOLES" auction.
I think a few of them have been sold.    I've run into a couple.

Slandy bought one and then pulled a SNAD.  I guess it didn't live up to her standards.

Strange Going On Over At eBay

Posted on April 10, 2007

by Lindy Austar

What makes people list some very weird and outrageous items on Ebay?

Is it their ego that drives them? To think that thousands of people will read and maybe even bid on their ridiculous offerings is that it?

What sort of offerings can be categorised as strange you might ask?

Well, this author has seen auctions for: virginity (this was removed because lets face it thats prostitution and definitely not something that Ebay really want to promote!), a hilarious auction for a stick yes a stick! The offending stick was part of a chair which broke when the seller sat on it! He was so outraged that he decided it would be a saleable item. And starting at .01c, he was right! He actually did sell it for close to $1.00

Now that doesnt mean you should all rush out to your local forest and collect firewood and give each piece an interesting history about which to write and offer up on Ebay!

Also seen was a piece of toast! This was so ridiculous, that one TV station in Australia featured that piece of toast on an evening comedy program and the hit counter went berserk after that! So it seems that anything, which could be classified as strange, has a place on Ebay.

Anyone got any old false teeth perhaps? Im sure even those would get a bid! Or how about that most horrible thing you bought on Ebay, which could be classified as the worst, buying choice you ever made?

Ive got one of those what self-respecting Ebay supporter hasnt?

Thinking it might be fun to buy a wig after having my long hair cut short, I turned to you guessed it Ebay - to spend my cash on a wig. Boy oh boy, what a disaster that turned out to be! I purchased this gorgeous looking blonde, long haired, curly looking piece which promised to make me look sexy and turn heads! The only heads this disaster would have turned would have been in true Exorcist style!

This thing which was advertised as New, with Tags was an absolutely revolting disaster! It was made of what can only be described as raffia, was orange in colour and was glued in bits to the mesh which fits all sizes of head all but mine, that is! Too small, too horrible, too funny for words! It now sits on the corner piece of our banister I keep thinking Ill paint some eyes and a big red mouth there. It certainly has been a talking point with lots of laughs and wise cracks at mums worst Ebay purchase! It almost seems a shame to sell it now in the weird category because Sally seems to now have a home here!

Ebay not just a place to buy and sell a place to find outrageously funny odds and sods to keep readers of all ages amused!

I only wanted to make fairy lights, says eBay man in terror raid

14.04.07

 Add your view

A man who bought items on eBay to make fairylights and fireworks for a family celebration had his home raided by police because they thought he was making a bomb.

Neil Harris used the online auction site to buy a rucksack, electronic relay board and saltpetre, which has explosive properties.

But three months later, the NHS worker, who lost a leg in a motorbike crash 30 years ago, was told by a friend that police had smashed down the front door of his flat because they thought he was a terrorist.

More follows...
