PayPal penalizes Good Samaritan

PayPal penalizes Good Samaritan

My accounts are now both completely frozen, and all associated information permanently barred from the paypal system. This means I have not bought a thing on ebay for months, because I have to have my dad use his account to pay and who wants to deal with that? I was only trying to use paypal for its intended purpose to help one of my closest friends, and they have in turn given me countless hours of grief and completely halted my acquisitions of cool trinkets from ebay. Thanks a bunch, you swarthy paypal overlords."

This guy couldn't have done more things wrong if he tried. No wonder they limtied his account.

Bored!  Hi honey, where you been?  Tired of defending PP?  Sick of sticking up for a company that screws over everyone they can?  Come on over to the GOOD side, and be one of the good guys for a change.

Yeah, he signed up for painpal and tried to use it for its advertised purpose.

If PayPal had enough sense to have a real human read and respond to real human's emails they could nip most of their troubles (and bad PR) in the bud, but that would be too obvious.

(Or maybe they are aware of that simple fact already and prefer to ignore it in the face of increased profit.)

Hi Ice. Hope you have been behaving yourself.

Hi anon.  Know what?  Pirate Day was so fun!  Thanks.  We'll have to find something else to do.  We could have an old fashioned  "HO" DOWN, but we'd have to check Clinic's schedule first!

I think we missed a real good one! Drats!
Lets see here..

September 2 was . . . . . National Beheading Day (this would have been my top pick)

September 25 is . . . . National Comic Book Day

September 26 is . . . . National Good Neighbor Day and National Pancake Day

September 27 is . . . . Crush A Can Day

September 28 is . . . . Ask A Stupid Question Day (I will be having some fun on this day)

September 29 is . . . . Poisoned Blackberries Day

September 30 is . . . . National Mud Pack Day

Nothing coming up soon comes close to talk like a pirate day. We should invent some days, like get our money back free day, BIN bandit day, report all posts day, report all auctions day...

Oops, nevermind, all that stuff happens all day and all night and all afternoon each and everyday...

Maybe we can have "moon Meg day". But we better have it soon though.

I predict 6 months from now she will be vapor and a memory

I'm gonna do the pressed ham.
