Well that's just another reason I don't "debate" with them that much any more. WASTE OF TIME. You never WILL convince them until they are not being paid anymore. Besides it's NOT them that need convincing anyway. (Actually no one needs convincing anymore) They know the truth but are PAID to try and hide it.
Simple as that.
Even at ppsux. Many of us decided to just let the fools figure it out for themselves. One things for certain... they wont be using it anymore. LOL
On a side note: an old and good debater (for ppbay) who was also a voices member, at one time, has seen the light.
OK MANY of them have just like the consumers. eBay market penetration worldwide is now well under 25% more close to 20% and still falling.

Sri Lankan native Shaniha Somasundaran allegedly took hundreds of thousands of dollars from people who responded to her eBay offers to sell gold coins. But in many cases Somasundaran never delivered, said both a Thurston County prosecutor and Somasundaran's attorney.
Somasundaran is charged with 58 counts of theft that prosecutors say began last December and continued through April.
Senior Assistant Prosecutor Joe Wheeler estimates there are at least 175 victims from at least 15 states. Wheeler believes the total loss is more than $1 million with some victims losing as much as $32,000.
"It's a huge case," Wheeler said.

Yep. Just more proof of what a scam sleazebay is. Anyone would have to be really stupid to not realize that. (or really bored)
What did sleazebay do with IT's share of ther scam?
(BTW, is the person in this article from ther same place as sleazebay spokesperson Handsi Dirty?)

stolen property on eBay FRANK ELTMAN Associated Press
MINEOLA, N.Y. - A New York-based eBay seller was charged with possessing stolen property Monday after a would-be customer found his stolen GPS navigation device up for sale on the online auction site.
Danial Rangkar, 25, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Monday, a day after he was arrested. Operating under the name, "nydannysjewelry," he is accused of trying to sell dozens of other electronic items, including laptop computers and iPods.
He was ordered held on $25,000 bail and told to surrender his passport, the Nassau County district attorney's office said.
Rangkar's attorney did not return a telephone call seeking comment.
The would-be customer, who was not identified, said he checked the serial number when he found the device about 10 days after it was stolen and matched it to the one he had owned, police said Monday.
Police searched Rangkar's home and business, a second hand store in Queens, and found several dozen items they suspect had been stolen out of automobiles in the New York area.
Catherine England, a spokeswoman for San Jose, Calif.-based eBay, said those suspected of illegal activity have their account canceled immediately. His site was still offering items Monday, and England said it was possible police had yet to notify her company about the arrest.
So once again, we see a swirling cesspool of crime and sleazery..
What most unsuspecting consumers may be overlooking is the very real possiblity that simply by using sleazy online auction giants, they may end up in prison and /or facing legal problems by using the site, as the mere possession of stolen goods is a crime.
Rest assured, if such an incident were to occur, ebay would collect it's fees and wash it's hands, leaving the consumer hanging out to dry. ('cause they're "just a venue")
There is far more regulation at the typical Pawn Shop.
I wonder what ebay did with their cut of the scam?

My sister-in-law's, niece's, husband's, gardener is doing time now in San Quentin for receiving stolen property. He bought a stolen riding lawn mower on eBay and now he's doing the time for the crime.
Feel free to tell others of this case of a consumer purchasing stolen property on eBay and being sent to jail. Armed with this proof, I'm sure your warnings will be taken serious.

Two 17-year-olds face burglary and felony theft charges after they allegedly tried to fence computer equipment they stole from Fort Collins high schools through the online auction house, eBay.
The two suspects - a Fort Collins High student and Poudre High student - allegedly stole computers and other electronic equipment totaling over $40,000.
The break-ins began in mid-October with the last one occurring during the early morning hours of Jan. 3 at Fossil Ridge High School. Fossil Ridge was hit three times, Fort Collins High twice, police said.
Acting on a hunch, Poudre School District security officials decided to check the latest offerings on eBay on Jan. 4 and discovered computers from the latest heist.
"They took a gander, and there they were," said school resource officer Suzanne Rice.
Police were able to get information about the eBay posting from the company's officials and a search warrant on a local residence was served in the early evening hours of Jan. 5.
The two suspects are cooperating with police to recover the rest of the stolen items.
yet another example highlighting a very small sliver of all that is wrong with sleazy, greedy, online auction giants.
Note the ages of the offenders. Lax registration is a wonderful thing for scammers.
More importantly, are venues such as the one mentioned in the news report luring the youth of our great nation into a life of online sleazery?
Someone should give them a donut and some friendly advice. (And they should take it)

The two 17 year old's should sue eBay for turning them to crime. With a jury that thinks like you they'll get millions of dollars from eBay.
When the woman sued McDonald's for becoming obese I'll bet you thought she was most reasonable didn't you.
I'll bet you were hoping Smith and Wesson would lose that lawsuit against them. They made the pistol so they were liable for it's use. Right?
I think the underlying point here is the lax registration polices of sleezbay. The unwillingness to police it's own site and the ability for any one to make as many ID's as they want on eBay to do a host of things.
They KNOW what needs to be done, but simply refuse to do it as they seem to feel it's not cost effective to curb the fraud that goes on all the time on the sleezbay site.
You wonder where the millions of users went? (The buyers and now even more of the sellers)
Well I'm not telling, but I'll give you a hint. It's a far away from sleezbay as they can get.
Now if I can wean myself finally and stop listing the few items I put up over there from time to time, I'll be a much better person too, for breaking the sleazbay habit. LOL
As far as lawsuits go. If S&W is dumping fire arms on the street and not verifying who is purchasing from them.
Hell yea sue them.
As far a fat ladies suing Mickey Dee"s. Well look at the world we live in. Amazing that judges would even entertain such crazy suits we see anymore isn't it?
I will say this. I LOL every time I see another negative story or another suit being filed against sleazbay.

You do your little dance and sing that nobody shops there, their fees are too high, their unethical, etc.. Then you list your items for sale on eBay because you can't stop.
I said "the few items I put up over there from time to time"... AND YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WHY I EVEN BOTHER AT ALL.
I too have hope that some how ebay will see the light., but also realized a long time ago... that it ain't gonna happen.
Hey try this on for size.
Are you running any auctions OR do you have an feeBay Store?
If so go to one of your pages and copy the entire URL and place it into the window here: http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/
Go ahead. it's safe. You will be amazed at how slow your items come up for anyone other than a cable or T1 connection.
All your stuff is being loaded down by feeBay and thier overblown scripts (which are BTW... full of glitches) This is and has been another area where your beloved sleazbay failed miserably in and is no doubt another one of the problems and is why millions just keep turning away.
Now if you are running auctions with no pics, no images at all, and no fluff, I imagine a 56k modem user may be able to surf on in and see your item after it takes over or close to a minute to load.
You know... the millions on AOL or peoplepc or any of the other dial ups. They simply went somewhere else I believe and traffic at other sites as well as the trusty old websites do seem to indicate this as well.
This my friend, is another area that so many fail to remember that has also helped cause the slowing of eBay's growth right here in the good old USA and has pretty much forced anyone who is not selling as a hobby, to simply move on for the most part.
Kind of hard to get traffic when dial up users can't even see your pages. huh?
So where did all those buyers go? Right into the arms of the majors (who finally got thier act together) and right into the arms of us little old mom and pops too.
Yep I'd say the landscape is a changing all right. But hey to each thier own. If you love and worship a company, might as well be feeBay... Right? LOL
PS... it was a bit painful when the few auctions I was running kept getting erroneously reported. My fees went from almost 6.00 to about nothing. LOL I enjoyed the FREE listings and may have even capitalized on a few of them.
I said "the few items I put up over there from time to time"... AND YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WHY I EVEN BOTHER AT ALL.
I honestly have no idea why you bother to list items from your comments about eBay. You just typed several more paragraphs about how eBay doesn't make any sense to use in your defense of using eBay, that's kinda weird. If you honestly believed everything you write about eBay you wouldn't list items there.
The irony of you giving one of your sermons about the evils of eBay while you still list items to sell on eBay is priceless.
Yes, the site appears to be overloaded with extra scripts, cookies, tracking devices, who knows what all.
When I open the FireFox adblockplus extension blockable elements window, an outrageous amount of GARBAGE shows up. Pages load at a snails pace for me. (in my misspent youth, when I foolishly, actually used the site)
Recalling recent articles, you head straight for ebaY, (also commonly referred to as sleaze bay, for OVER five hundreths of a century.).
Well fear not idle hands. You will be entertained,... errr, frustrated,... err... Your online internet auction giant shopping experience will be a memorable one, regardless of whatever IT is you are looking for.
My conclusions;Consumers deserve better. Consumers want easy to navigate, fast loading, user friendly websites. Consumers do not want added, sneaky, superfluous garbage added to pages/sites for the purpose of collecting data/personal info to be resold
Online auction giants may help reduce the risk of various chicken-bone related accidents, and chafing., but may lead to other, more discreet, yet dangerous, harmful, or serious conditions/afflictions.

..."The brands that have managed to build cultlike followings have done so by being, well, cultlike, at least in some aspects. They are self-consciously different from rivals. They're bound by a set of clearly defined and rigorously enforced values. And they fulfill a range of needs for their members -- er, customers." ...
Shall we continue, bored loser?

I had hoped to spare you the pain of seeing your hero having to confess he still lists on eBay. Don't be to hard on him, he was weak and gave into temptation.

I don't list items at eBay to sell at eBay. Never did other than the early days when it was easy to put your own BIN buttons right in the pages and peeps would simply "check out" via PP (pre eBay buy-out) and bypass feeBay all together. (I used to love that, I could list three / four items a week and sell 20 items off those three or four) LOL LOL LOL My goal has always been to list items on eBay that don't sell and drive traffic to ME and save. It's all about the profits for all of us dude.
At one time, I will admit, it was a great customer acquisition tool. Sadly for all, it's becoming harder and harder to do that because, well... customers aren't going there like they used to and you KNOW that is true. (FOR MANY OF LEGITIMATE REASONS, I WILL ADD).
Now in all fairness to me, I don't think I ever seriously said anywhere that eBay was "evil". But it's interesting to see the eBay evangelists use the terminology to try and describe those of us who have seen the light.
It used to be you idiots would say:
"It's ebay's biz, they can do what they want".
Then it was: "You didn't read the UA"
Then it was: Attacking the posters grammar and or saying something about "tin foil hats"?
Then it was: Removing your formidable opponents from the game because you couldn't win. (The TRUTH always wins, remember that)...
Then it was: Spoofing others ID's.
And now we are at: The nay sayers say "eBay is evil", trying to imply that somehow it is the smart non sheep types (like us), that are some sort of cult or evangelists againts evil. ha ha ha
Priceless indeed...
Sophistry coming from the frauds who support this organization I tell you... sophistry.
To even attempt to make people with common sense out to be any of the above, (LW designed terms / tactics) is laughable and has NEVER worked.
You people's attempts to play down the truth have failed miserably and you know that too.
Anyway, that's all eBay has ever been for me. An acquisition tool and a cheap way to advertise. Because at one time, they did indeed have the eyeballs, but as you are well aware of... this is simply not the case anymore.
Spin it any way you want, it's no big deal. After all, it's just and Internet auction site. Not a God nor the devil. Just some folks who happen to be in the right place at the right time, and cashed in. Nothing more, nothing less.
I will say this, at one time feeBay was a great thing, but those days are over... and we all know that, now don't we?
More importantly Xppman, are consumers sending in alll the articles, links, forum and community discussion board posts, etc to the FTC to let them determine the legality of shill posting, deceiptful, sleazy online propaganda agencies?
Mu-ah-hahahahaha

I don't know how I became the proclaimed "leader" of the non ppbay movement by you LieWorld frauds / Buzz Marketing rejects...
I don't think I am... and quite frankly... I don't want the job. Besides ppbay has been doing so much to hurt themselves, there's really no need for me to post too much about it any more... so I don't.
I'm just another soul who has enough brains to know what's right and wrong, that's all.
But when a company like LieWorld comes along and does the crap they have done. Someone has to step up to educated the masses. That's all it was ever about for me. I don't hate any of you, nor wish you any true harm. (Well OK some of you, I do wish would just die, but that's besides the point)
I guess it bothers you that I can still list on feebay after all the negative things I've said about them and thier cronies. YOU
Why is that?
I mean. Do you like the current admin of this country? If so.. fine... If not, do you just pack up and run to another country? Or do you stay and fight and try to effect positive change?
That's all any of us are really all about dude.
In the course of that end...many may have felt left behind or hurt. Well get over it. You too can join the NON sheep any time you want. It's open to all, so....
Personally, I know when to cut and run and eBay isn't really worth much of my time anymore. Now that don't mean others feel the same way. So anyone who still want's to chip away at the already eroded organization, has my blessings. And those who want to defend it... well that's thier choice too.
Pretty simple ain't it.
Oh do me a favor will ya.
Trust and safety (that's a oxymoron if I ever hear one) just e mailed me back and said they don't have time to check my new listings to see if there are any violations or not. (I only have four items up... LOL)
So please... Go report my stuff and we will find out in the morning, if I'm in compliance with eBay's anti competitive polices or not.
If I'm not in compliance... Well then. I get my fees back AGAIN.
And if I'm lucky. Well maybe this time, they will BREAK the cycle for me and NARU my asp.
I've been labeled that by your crew from day one. LOL I can take it.
I guess your right. I'm a hypocrite because I list a few items here and there on a web site called feebay and I STILL have a PP account too.
Boy that really hurts.
I see the light now. Because of your insight, I now realize that I need to close my PP account, get OFF feebay, move to the Bahamas and drink Corona's all day long.
Did you report my listings yet?
Please hurry on over and get the rest of the gang to do so too. My flight leaves soon and where I'm going. THEY DON'T TAKE PAYPAL.
