I just came from the board and someone else has posted "Paypal Suckss!!!!!!!!!" as the thread topic...That one wont last long...Its too direct, its too honest... I think they have alarms that go off with the words "Paypal" and "Sucks" are in the same sentence, and someone hits the panic button...lol I can see them all scrambling now..lol Telco, time will go by fast and in the mean time you can post what you find and want to point out from the PP board here. Some of us will be all over some of them...

I notice that when I am on here, that it shows who is currently logged in and how many "guests" are here... I wonder if there would be anyway the Administrator could require that a person be logged into his account before being allowed to view the posts??? then we would know for sure that these "guests" arent the regulars...
Welcome to the board Telco. As you found out, you have no rights on the other board. Speak the truth and they will attack you, causing you to lose your cool and post something they can use against you and slap you.

Yes, it is possible to do this. Everyone would have to log in before being able to read. The problem you will run into is that the "others" who just want to be nosey will sign up under a bogus name and you still won't know who they are. i.e - Alice in Wunderland.
I did this once for about a week, and there were some new sign ups due to it. Talk amongst yourselves and if the majority wants to go back to that, I will change it.

Freedom of speech is THE most important part of any discussion board. EBay has decided to step on one of our most basic freedoms in order to protect their cash cow Paypal. Don't let that happen here. I realize there is a fear of getting sued over libelous comments posted here, but it shouldn't be a major concern. Remember, sandypurins is a fictional name. She swears it's her real name, but it is not. And cliniclady2000 is obviously not a real person's name. Someone cannot sue you for libel when they are using a screen name or a user name on the Paypal board. The only exception might be if they were selling ID's and a person's comment harmed their eBay business. But since the trolls over there only use posting ID's or buying ID's, that will never be the case. Keep the language reasonably clean and remove any threats or racist remarks. But every other comment should be allowed to stay posted here. Just my two cents worth on this subject.
My only suggestion would to make them sign in. So on the main paige when scroll down to bottom we would see who is signed in. While I know they wouldnt use their real posting ID, we would know it wasnt none of the regulars, therefor we would know when they were over here spying.. I just thought that would be some gratification... didnt intend to come off as trying to keep them from here... I personally believe they would sign in. I dont think they could stay away. They are too nosy.. Its no big deal.. just a thought..
It seems obvious they are reading here. Big Deal! Let em read. We can always have another private forum somewhere else where they will never know about for anything we do not want available for public consumption.
They only thing I object to is when they want to use the copycat or lookalike IDs to mess with people. (So I glommed onto the coveted anonymous ID)
I wish they would come and debate in a place with REAL FREEDOM of SPEECH. It will only make them look worse. (if that is even possible)They will not engage the FACTS on a level playing field.
Actually, what I truly believe is they are indeed employed by liveworld and have been told NOT to post here. No other possible explanation makes sense.
