Manufacturers work hard to make sure their products are well represented. They offer guarantees to the retailers that their products will not be sold for less in the form of dealer agreements. A retailer has to make profit to keep their doors open.
So what happens? Some bottom feeder like sam comes along and buys product on the gray market and sells for much less than a retailer can, thus killing the market for the retailer and the manufacturer.
What does sam offer? No warranty, no guarantee. It absolutely kills the market for B&M retailers. In the following posts I will show how sam thinks it is above all agreements.

All high end type sporting goods have dealer agreements and rules regarding internet sales because it infringes on others territories.

I never indicated you couldn't post. I indicated you answered a question that was not directed to you.
As you are so fond of pointing out, everybody should follow the letter of any agreements that they checked off on or signed. I'm sure that goes for any agreement whether it be paypal or dealer agreements or whatever.
I'm sure sam will be along to answer the question any time now.
unfrozen*caveman*lawyer (Private ) View Listings | Report Jul-16-06 16:43 PDT 56 of 63 I will say that is not much of an answer.
All high end sporting goods companies have agreements. If you have not signed one then you are not a dealer. Which means no warranty among other things.
My apologies to the the OP for the hijacking. This will be the last post regarding this here.
