Sold It Live Welcomes Google's New Payment Service, Google Checkout

SoldItLive.com, the online virtual marketplace, announced today that it has adopted the newly launched Google checkout payment service to add to its accepted payment methods.

Beaverton, Oregon (PRWEB) July 7, 2006 -- SoldItLive.com, the Internet's most exciting marketplace for buyers and sellers, announced today that it has adopted Google's new internet payment service, Google Checkout. The decision comes at the same time that rival auction giant eBay banned Google's payment service in an apparent attempt to block competition to its Paypal service.

SoldItLive.com will be offering its users the option to either use Paypal or Google Checkout to pay for their classifieds or auctions.

"We believe it's the consumer that has the choice on how to pay," said Sold It Live's president, Fahmi Slail in a statement. "The decision of how to pay for items purchased is simply between the buyer and the seller and no one should dictate a particular method of payment unless you are an escrow service.

"We welcome Google's innovative payment checkout process and we look forward to giving our clients the choice of a good value for utilizing multiple payment method options. It only makes the internet more user friendly."
