Ruthie, Yes... the OP waited and received a refund which is exactly what cliniclady2000 suggested in post #1 of this thread.

If you have e-mailed the seller I would give it until Tuesday night as this is a holiday weekend. If no reply in 7 days, file an item not received dispute thru Paypal. You can also pull the sellers contact info and call them.

Ruthie, Do you disagree with that advice?

I would not be foolish enough to ever accept a Paypal payment again for any amount, so that would be an impossible question for me to answer.

Ruthie, The OP is a buyer... the OP did not receive a PayPal payment... the OP accidently sent a duplicate PayPal payment...

If you received a duplicate payment, how long would it take you to refund that payment?

Peep, Your knowledge of Paypal is certainly sufficient to know it is a simple matter to make a Paypal refund. I honestly don't know why you would use a "I don't offer Paypal, so I wouldn't know" excuse for responding to the question.

Shelties, I'm not sure that Ruthie has very much PayPal knowledge... based on her posts, it's entirely possible that Ruthie has no knowledge of the PayPal refund link...

Ruthie blames PayPal for a lost shipment for which she had no proof of delivery to the buyer's confirmed address, and so... it's obvious that Ruthie didn't read/understand the PayPal user aggrement.

In a chargeback situation, PayPal is no longer the "middleman"... in a chargeback situation, PayPal is the seller.

Good question! I was wondering the same thing.... Although I make sure not to use the Paypal logo that has the Credit cards next to it. (Check in the Ebay Forums, there's a user named sandypurins that has created some scripts to have the Paypal logo appear without the credit cards next to it...) That way the buyers cannot hold you to "You have to accept credit cards if you take Paypal".

Off course there is no proof, just hearsay. If someone provides proof then I'll condede to what I have allegedly done. However as that proof does not exist, I know that I will never concede.

The proof is that the person you are talking about ( Dianev and katie ) were reported for shill bidding, the shilling account was suspended for a week ( which is usual for the first offence ) and reinstated. It happened, live with it. I don't live with it.

Again what proof do you have unless you work for ebay? You do realize with all these ridiculous statements you are making that you are showing yourself for what you really are dont you?
