eBay is not the only way... How to turn unwanted Christmas gifts into cash rather than them gathering dust

There was a lot of insincere 'thank you's on Wednesday and there's an equal amount of unwanted gifts lurking in cupboards around the country now, if a new survey is anything to go by.

Two thirds of people receive at least one unwanted gift at Christmas, according to 'cash-for-clutter' website, MusicMagpie.

A third of us will give one to some other poor, unsuspecting family member the following year, the survey suggests. But it might make more sense to clear some some space and make some cash to help with that post-Christmas financial hangover.
