I just thought I would share this immoral practice of eBay.

I received an email today about my personal account being indefinitely restricted, with no explanation given.

When I called them, this is what I was asked. I was asked about a relative of mine who shares the same last name, who apparently had an overdue account. I was told, in order to remove the restriction on my account (which I have had for 7 years), I would have to get my relative to pay their bill.

This is a disgusting practice in my eyes. We are both adults, do not share accounts or credit, and do not even live in the same city, yet they expect me to basically be their debt collector in order to use their service.
