From the Things that make ya go hmmm dept... I've just witnessed some instantaneous, realtime censorship in action. Not sure what to make of that but this could well be a monumental change. It strikes me very odd there wouldn't be a bulletin posted at the top of that paypal forum, on twitter etc rather than instant post deletions.

Here's an update:

A PayPal spokesperson said in an email, "We can assure our merchants that PayPal will continue to offer micropayments pricing. The message on our website is to notify customers that we are retiring that specific webpage, but not the pricing program. We apologize for the confusion this may have caused for our customers."

(there's more to read ^)

as to the reason for the extreme censorship? Well it must have been something? but who knows?

I think we're all conditioned to expect the sleaziest though.
