Now here's a spoof I made last year, (you can see the date in title) in response to the ads from outside sites when they first began appearing on sellers' bought & paid for listing pages. This was posted to a now defunct site.

As you can see, I did predict the Chinese mail order bride service ads. lmao.

I think it serves to illustrate once again that truth is stranger than fiction with all things ebaY.

Without looking, I don't recall whether ebay was claiming 'glitch' when the ads started. hmmm.

I think maybe it was something along the lines of '...for those very rare instances when users can't find what they need, the sponsored ads on sellers' pages will help improve the search & finding experience...'

[therefore put them on 150 million listings!]
