If I were you, I sure wouldn't go anywhere near Paypal! Do whatever you need to to make sure that ebaY or Paypal cannot access or withdraw funds from your bank and/or credit card accounts in any way. Then close your ebay and paypal accounts. (ebaY is still showing infected too, as it has since almost forever)
screencapp and report at link. ^

Didn't even have my swami hat on. simply amazing ^
I see that some of paypal's competitors were giving pp a razzing over the outage today on social sites. Hilarious. What's more, I checked them all at google safe browsing page and none of them show infection.
I bet it might really suck for paypal if any of them should happen to capitalize on that fact.

Getting worse it seems. Also, if my count is correct, there's been a total now of 3 different antivirus or scanners detecting trojan malware, 2 (GData and Avast) by the name of bankfraud-bbe, along with Google safe browsing. Avast seems to have declared it a false positive even though there wan't any 'official' statement from either them or paypal. Look in the comments of the originally linked blog post above.

LoLz! All the 'false positive' issues as of late are beginning to look mighty shady considering the reports of hacked accounts rolling in from all over BFE.
Don't overlook what happened back in the day regarding the BayRob Trojan, ebaY/paypal negative publicity and large security firms.

Paypal went from early summer, around June 25 without malware detections, but lately they've returned.
(ebay went a short while without detections too, maybe a month tops, but now showing infected again)
