Has anyone else noticed that a transaction shows up on eBay, say hypothetically yesterday 04/24/2012 and yet when the PayPal payment transaction notice comes through it's dated today 04/25/12? Every since the Spring Seller updates became such noise I started watching and low and behold, just this month alone I've had 23 transaction JUST LIKE THAT. Yet, look at sold items in My eBay and they say sold the 24th meaning to meet criteria for the 20% discount on FVF's, I'd have to ship the same day as the PayPal payment transaction is dated, the 25th. It's always been my understanding that a transaction is not completed and/or are sellers expected to ship anything until payment has cleared and when you receive a PayPal payment transaction then that is actually the official beginning of a contract agreement between buyers & sellers, yes or no? Maybe it's just me but that rings of duplicitousness at the very least. We'll see what others think and I'm going to be very interested in what kind of responses we get back from the several emails we sent to various legal centers and counsel asking if they would be kind enough to share their knowledge and opinions
