After going through hell with Toys "R" Us trying to purchase an item and trying to warn others about the horrendous experience on their Facebook page, I found out that not only is Toys "R" Us breaking eBay's seller rules, but eBay is turning a blind eye to it. Sellers are supposidely not allowed to list items that they are simultaneously selling outside of eBay, but this accounts for 90% of Toys "R" Us's listings. When I called eBay about it, I was hung up on twice. It was surprising to me until I found out eBay recently purchased GSI Commerce, which is the company responsible for several large corporations' online marketing, payment processing, order management and customer service...including Toys "R" Us's! So now eBay is breaking its own rules to turn even more of a profit, and all this is doing is resulting in hundreds of canceled orders because of lack of inventory, delayed refunds, and consistenly deleting negative feedback left in order to keep TRU's rating at AT LEAST 99%. Unbelievable! I've notified the FTC (who's already fined TRU $1.3 million last year over unfair business), and have contacted news networks. I encourage every concerned consumer to do the same!

Hello. Thanks for signing up. Welcome to the CAPP forum.
Yes I'm sure that you could find many people who would agree with you. I'm glad you complained.
ToysRUs is one of ebay"s diamond sellers. They are allowed to break rules which would earn a lowly "flea market" or 'noisey' seller a one-way ticket to the ebay gulag.
As I recall, they started actively selling at ebaY under quite a bit of controversy.
Here's a screencapture of their early feedback page. Quite revealing on the surface. And that's just the start of it.
