New York State Attorney General offices Fed Up with Paypal!

I just registered on ebay after someone who filed a complaint with the NYS AG office sent a link to this site in their complaint. . I have been employed by the NYS atty' gen. office for 5 years and I, along with many others that work here are amazed at how many complaints we receive concerning paypal.

5 Years ago we received on average 3 to 4 complaints a week. 2 years ago the complaints were coming in at a rate of 10 to 12 a day or about 50 a week!

NOW?? We receive more complaints concerning paypal than ALL OTHER COMPLAINTS COMBINED! This has both positive and negative ramifications. Positive, no one here has been laid off or had their hours cut as we are so over whelmed with writing complaint letters to paypal. Negative, people should not have to deal with the AG office to get things resolved.

I take the bar exam in June (just turned 52) and I am looking forward to working with a law firm that specializes in internet law.

For those that are curious, the AG office I work in receives on average 250 paypal complaints a week! There are nine attorney general branches or offices in New York State. I can not imagine how many complaints are filed nationally
