PayPal freezes $50K Account, Calls it a "reserve"

Oh look what the thieves at preypal are up to this time!

They decide to freeze $50,000 of a sellers money over a question of a $4500 dispute. On top of that, they are trying to call it a 'reserve'.

(On what is likely to be a bogus claim to begin with)

Ridiculous! Fraud! Plain and simple!

You'll note that the contact info for bank regulators for the person's state have been provided.

If the same situation happens to you, regardless the reason given, whether it's in the ToS, or they change their policies just for you or whatever...and your funds are due to be held over 10 days, you need to go to screw-paypal.com resources page, where most of the legwork is done for you as far as researching the proper place to file complaints. Click on your state's map.

I believe the webmaster there is also offering a paid service where he will craft and send several effective letters for you if you don't want to or know what to write. Last time I saw that it was only like 10 bucks BTW.

If you should happen to contact the webmaster there, you may ask him about the $40K they stole from him...

To look into joining the money-holding lawsuit, here's the contact info:

Freed & Weiss LLC
111 West Washington Street, Suite 1331
Chicago, IL 60602
Toll Free: 866-779-9610
Phone: 312-220-0000
Fax: 312-220-7777

People also should not be afraid to make youtube videos, blog posts, write to their favorite local media outlet's investigative reporters, (like "5 on your side") etc. make as much noise as humanly possible.

Folks have been finding out lately that PP has been backing down and releasing funds once they see that the complaining people are sticking to their pistols and following through with their complaints to the proper authorities

Also, learn to recognize the paid pettifogging astroturfers attempting to distract, deflect, give faulty time wasting [non] advice...

If you go here, you'll see that paypal management has a special "happy days" fund set up from monies they seize and or steal from hapless users.

Paypal themselves are the biggest scammers of all.
