A poster on Reddit recently divulged a tale of the time he listed tickets for a sporting event on eBay and had a buyer back out of a transaction at the last minute.

"I made a one-day listing and clearly stated that the tickets must be picked up in person within 24 hours (the game was the evening after the auction ended, so there wasn't any time to ship the tickets)," Reddit user BadgerMatt wrote.

A woman won the auction for around $600 but when BadgerMatt attempted to contact her multiple times...

When you get done reading it, keep in mind that anyone can sign up as many accounts as they want, or even buy them - Paypal accounts too.
There is NO ebay rule against it. In fact if you follow the link you'll see that odds are ebaY actually sanctions or passively condones/endorses the sale of ebaY and paypal accounts, and the use thereof.

There is NO legal obligation to pay for a single thing on ebay anymore either. Folks can bid to their heart's content and never pay, without breaking ebaY rules or the law. Remember they changed that. Ebay is supposed to be fun.

Sellers can also sign up as many accounts as they want. they can neg-bomb, DSR bomb, VERO bomb their competitors etc to their heart's content, all without ever breaking a single ebaY rule. Actually I think anyone can VERO bomb without even being an ebaY member, or suffering any negative consequenses from what I've seen and read.

What was ebaY's big catch phrase onceupona...?
"The power of many"? Or was it "the power of us all"?  (Who really cares?!) But it seems to have a completely different connotation now.
