Anyone else hear about this? It's suppose to start at 12 noon EST on Thanksgiving Day. Those partaking in the event are competing for 2 gold medals, one for purchasing the most items in one weeks time, the other for purchasing the highest total $$$ amount in one weeks time. Most are opening a new account to use for this event. Only those whose account is still valid at the end of the week will be eligible. This event will cause massive buying for the week after Thanksgiving, rumor has it some of those competing may amass millions of dollars in purchases during the event, all trying to take home the gold medal at the end.

If you look at this buyer, 4me2please, you can see how this person is already practicing for the big event. In a matter of a few days they have been able to amass 1,000's of dollars worth of purchases on a new ID which is still going strong.

Will the new sellers who have been restricted from selling here compete in this event now that they have alot of time on their hands, they probably will, leaving this competition open to almost anyone to win. I can hear them now, "Let the games begin!!!!".
