A British funnyman has confessed to selling off schoolmate EMMA WATSON's childhood belongings on auction website eBay.com.

Comedian Jack Whitehall turned a profit after the young actress became famous as Harry Potter's sidekick Hermione Granger.

He tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "It was a chance to be entrepreneurial and I'm sure Emma wasn't too upset."
