If you've ever read a blog, magazine, or website, youve probably seen a stock image.
These are photographs that someone has taken and sold on a royalty-free basis to the writer, publisher or designer. The photographer owns the rights to the image, so the buyer is not allowed to resell it. However, the buyer can use it on a website or in another publication subject to the licensing agreement set forth by the photographer. Using stock photography is cheaper than hiring a photographer and it's much more convenient if you need an image of a far away place or uncommon object. This is what makes it attractive to many publishers and online content creators.

Personally, I've made a buttload of money off hijacked images from old Planet of the Apes movies.
Studies show that posting fake belly pictures can bring bring instant internet death!
If the stock photo avatar police would happen to stop by and see that... well you just never know what could happen.
Feel free to post your own. I will guess whether it's real, fake, 'borrowed', or if it came from some old scifi movie, or indoor exercise device website. It's an ancient CAPP forum tradition. One of which we are fiercly proud!
If you can stump me, we shall move to the "boobies or butt" phase.

Yeah, from day one I always had a feeling that YOU would be the death of me!
Game on! Im gonna take you up on that, LOL... My brother-in-law is always taking pictures of my butt! Seriously, he does. I have some from the 4th of July. I find them... and then well see!
