"It was all high fives and butt slaps at Friday mornings eBay management meeting as eBay North American President William C. Cobb, announced earnings, in the form of listing fees and final valuation fees (FVF) from the recent round of fraud against innocent shoppers by eBay member/fraudster "Sidozey". When asked about the victims of this recent series of scams, Cobb replied 'Poor bastards. I cant help but think that it sucks to be them!'
The meeting turned even more up beat as the individual management team members announced what they intended to do with their share of the stolen loot. Some were going to buy themselves new cars, some were taking trips to exotic places such as Paris. One member of management, who asked to remain anonymous, stated he planned to buy his wifes best friend, who he has been secretly dating these last 6 months, a new fur coat and "lots of jewelry". Cobb himself announced plans to purchase yet another home in St Croix, the US Virgin Islands. None, however, planned to return their portion of the loot to the rightful owners, the victims of this recent series of scams.
When we caught up with Jim "Griff" Griffith, who had plans to purchase a new baseball cap and a cigar, we asked him about the legality of eBay keeping the funds associated with the fraud. "Griff" replied "eh, Cops are stupid".
284Dan Inc was able to obtain police video of many of the recent victims of eBay fraud. Yes, Mr Cobb, after viewing this video we can all see that it does "suck to be them".
This is the first thing I thought of when I saw your post.
That will be a reality before too long. (more) ebay people will be out on the @$$es if things keep going the way they are going. All too much to keep track of, but just enough to keep me laughing.
