Earlier this morning the Trust & Safety board at ebay community forums filled up with posts containing user's data. Data which could only have been acquired through HACKING!
Note that "signature" at the bottom of this edited screen capture.

"SGI Inc. - emocnI gnitareneG rof snoituloS"

Many of the earlier posts were Titled "hey" then they changed to be what appears to be the user's ID and/or password or other info hashed.

I have already uploaded a fitting audio-visual record
(former location: http://www.youtube.com/v/_q9m2iFsz9M) of the event to youtube, and I have dozens and dozens of screencaptures.

Let me repeat that

HACKING!!!

Here is what the carnage looked like as it began, ending with over 20 pages of these posts from my count.

Below is how it looked around 07:23 am PTD.

Note that ebay has boldly sprung into action!

Please be sure to check back. This will be updated later on, in the meantime, check to see if your name is on the partial list which can be found here at the moment.

Then, I strongly suggest closing your ebay account permanently

I see the T&S board has now returned, along with some updated "white lies" on various ebay pages.

  Shame that ebay wishes to be dishonest by attempting some sort of feeble and ill-conceived cover-up, because by now, they should realize how dedicated I am to exposing the cheating, dishonesty, untrustworthiness, and reprehensibility they exude from every pore of their green, scaly skin.

   Now, I would like to see a public apology to myself, IceBlueEyes, Valduz, and the humble, peace loving CAPP bd, for that vulgar comment left by an apparent ebay supporter, at my veryfine consumer awareness video documenting this morning's incident, by youtube member flakeysboy.

Looks like even the LieWorld gang can't control it all bud,
(not they EVER where 'effective' in the first place)
and looking for a scapegoat , to boot..
 
They pulled the post the where dimesy1 was linking to the tube
stuff and calling the person who recorded it, the ' perp'.
 
In the heat of the moment, I'd give dimesy1 some slack.
That poster knows it's 'stuff' and will recant, once they know all the details.
 
Don't worry my friend.
If they TRY to pin it on you, just let me know.
(I'll be watching)
I've got years of this stuff, archived all over the net,
and on hard drives they can't play with.
 
Hell... The appropriate agencies also have it all too.
Don't think for a minute they don't.
 
You are one of the good guys bud, and the BAD guys are running more
scared now, than I've EVER seen before.
 
At the end of the day. WE will prevail.
I already know this.
So, just try to relax, I'm with you and so is the world, and THEY will NOT get away

Well you know xppman, I have now seen so many falsehoods now regarding this situation it is not funny.

Not sure if you read the comments over at the vid I posted, but IMO, ebay is not being very nice.

That one comment changed everything. I sure hope they rein in their shills and/or viral loyalists, because they are NOT doing ebay / PayPal any favors by alarming and upsetting people with that filth. Keep that on the ebay site, maybe in the toy section or toddler's clothing with the rest of the vulgarity

Without any explanation, nor even a PEEP, youtube has now removed that very fine, documentary video of the massive hack attack upon the T&S board.

The inside story is much different then their public press release. They don't want people dumping their stock, and I can understand that, but at the same time, come on, get it together - or let someone take over who can. No one wants another ENRON.

There is nothing to pin on me.

I did see a humorous report, I believe that was on a UK or Austrailian ebay chat bd, where something was stated about the police knowing who was doing that and being on their way to the person's house to arrest them.

Hilarious. Vladuz said it was a bot, and that attack could have gone on for years, instead of an hour and a half.

You can see the screencap of all the comments on that video before the anti-free speech, anti-consumer rights folks had it yanked, over at my bravenet blog BTW.

You can see the screencap of all the comments on that video before the anti-free speech, anti-consumer rights folks had it yanked, over at my bravenet blog BTW.

I wonder what third party vigilante group had the thing yanked? I can imagine.

I really do not know, since I have not received any explanation, other than whatever everyone seees should they try to go to that url..
What I am sure of, is that a whole lot of ebay / paypal security related issues keep on "evaporating"

But you know what, I have TONNES saved.

And they will all be brought to the light!

I mean, that is, if I am not too busy documenting even more, worse
MASSIVE HACK ATTACKS.

My spidey-sense is telling me that NOTHING on the ebay site has been plugged to prevent such an occurance.

Can you imagine what it would be like to have that or something similar happen for YEARS instead of hours?

Not sure how many are following along with this closely, but over at the auctionbytes blog discussion and comments area things are looking very funny indeed.

It looks as though perhaps someone has signed-on with a look-a-like ID, posing as the V man himself, and is being more less challeged (or perhaps even flirted with in a way maybe) by one of the popular pro paypal voices over there at the PP bd

Should say this here too. It took a while, but eventually the words "rejected for inappropriate content" or something lame and generic appeared on the edit page of that video.

I know it took a while because I had to refer to it for info and get screencaptures to send off to some fine folks, and it was not here at that time, some 36 hrs after removal.
